Education Fund for Abuse Victim

Michelle suffered childhood abuse. Molested by her father, abandonment from her mother, and then raped in college. She was recently diagnosed with PTSD, Dysthymia, Anxiety, and possible BPD. Her desire is to get back on her feet, move on from the past, and help those who are new to similar journeys. She desires to achieve a Masters degree in Psycholgy. With this degree she dreams of specializing in abuse victims and children. She claims she desires to change the way they see themselves, from negative to positive, while helping them into a safe environment where they can regain their sense of self and trust.  In order ro do thiis, large amounts of money are needed to begin funding school and living costs. With out either parent for support and barely knowing other familiy as a result of sever isolation from he past abuse, she struggles to pay rent, let alone schooling costs.  On top of school, Michelle also desires to write a book. This book will be a reflection of her past, including actual clippings from her journals as well as dreams, memories, and thoughts. To publish such a book takes both time, money, and effort.  Finally, Michelle also has suffered greatly from the abuse. Her father took her college funds from her account before her 18th birthday and used them on lawyers fees and to wipe his criminal record. She has paid for therapy on her own and uses herbal teas such as Saint Jobhn Wort to help with her depression.  Michelle currently maintains an Average GPA of 3.56 in University while working two part-time jobs and volunteering at a local emergency women's shelter. The funds she maintains from these jobs barely cover rent, necessities, and food.  Michelle is motivates and will use the money wisely toward enhancing her future and the future  of other abuse victims.
