This year for my birthday, I want to give back to a cause close to my heart by educating young children in India. I've been blessed to have parents who have always put my education first but not all children are fortunate enough to even receive an education.
Jnana Mandira is an orphanage based in Bangalore, India. They educate orphans, children of single parents, unwed mothers, and those that just cannot afford to get an education. In today's world, education is crucial to success and can change your entire life. I strongly believe that by educating one child, you are lifting up their entire family as well.
Instead of wishes or presents this year, I hope you consider donating to this noble cause instead.
