Education for Siblings

I am Mohammad Bah from Sierra Leone located in West Africa.

I come from a very poor family. I wasn't able to go school due my family's lack of money. I am lucky to have found a friend who has excellent English to help me put this page together. My dream is for my siblings never to have to ask another to write for them again.

l have four brothers and one sister who are also not studying due to poverty and I really want to provide an opportunity for them to receive an education. I believe education is the foundation for giving back and supporting others now that rural villages such as mine are becoming obsolete and jobs are migrating to the cities.

Malik is 15 years old; Bubakar is 12; Umar is 9; Umu is 5; while Ismail is 3.

They want to contribute to society. My dream is for them to become a medical doctor, a lawyer, an entrepreneur, a journalist, and an accountant in that order.

I have been traveling between my village and the cities around here to find a job for the past five years. Work is almost non-existent in my area and a job is extremely difficult, indeed almost impossible to find.

While I continue looking for work I have setup a GoGetFunding page here. With generous support, I hope to set up a small business in order to provide an income and perhaps future employment for my family. Any money you can afford to give will be greatly appreciated.

Mohammad and I have been going back and forth for awhile and we have spoken. The area he lives in is poor and I have setup this fundraiser for him and his family as the technological infrastructure to easily access a computer and Internet is not there.. All money is sent to my Paypal account which I will transfer to when the fundraiser is over.
