Campaign Story
Hi, my name is Usman Mujahid and I am an orphan. I am 16 years old and I live in Karachi, Pakistan. I have three younger siblings, Umer, Ayesha, Zainab Mujahid.
My parents passed away when I was 10 years old. They were both teachers and they worked hard to provide for us. After they died, I had to drop out of school to take care of my siblings. We were living in poverty and I didn't know how we were going to survive.
One day, I met a kind family who helped me get back into school. they told me that education was the key to our future and they helped me find a scholarship to pay for my tuition. I am so grateful to them for there help.
I am now in 12th grade and I am doing well in school. I want to become a doctor so that I can help other people who are in need. I know that it will be difficult, but I am determined to succeed.
I am starting this GoFundMe to raise money to help me pay for my tuition, books, and living expenses. I am also hoping to raise money to help my siblings continue their education.
I know that education is the key to our future and I am asking for your help to make my dream a reality. Thank you for your support.
I would also like to add that education is not just important for me and my siblings. It is important for all children in South Asia. In this region, only 66% of children complete primary school and only 33% of girls complete secondary school. I believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to get an education, regardless of their gender or socioeconomic status.
I hope that my story will inspire others to help children in South Asia get an education. Together, we can make a difference.
Thank you for your support.
