Today, I would like to tell you the story of Dichan. Dichan Mahato is 6 years old. He is studying at Shree Nawajagaran Higher Primary School, in Nepal. Giriraj Mahato, his father, died in Malaysia as a migrant worker in the year 2015.

It had been only a year since Mahato went to Malaysia, where he would draw US 250 per month ( approx. Rs. 25,000). He used to save all his earning and send money home. He was the only source of income for the family. But after 8 months in May 31, 2015, he had a heart attack which led to his death. He was 32 years.

In addition to the emotional shock and despair due to the loss of Mahato, the family lost their sole breadwinner so their economic condition started falling down. Dichan needs money to continue his education, to pay the school fee.

If like me, you are sensitive to the difficult situation of these nepali children, I would like to ask you to go to the website of my project to help children of migrant workers. Donations start from 1 USD or 100 NPR approx, and will have a significant impact on the life of these children.
