Education for an Educator

My Story

Hello everyone, my name is Hannah Sharp. I'm 20 years old and I'm raising money to fund my education.

I'm going to school to get my Early Childhood Education degree. With this degree, I will have the education to become a preschool teacher. I have always had a passion for learning and a love for working with children. This career is the perfect match for me and I will do whatever I can to reach my goal, but I need a little help.

I took out loans in order to attend Humboldt State University last year, and I was able to live on my own with the loans, my part time job, and the help of my parents. However this summer I lost my job and my father was relocated to Florida, where his salary will be significantly lower than last year. I had to move home and I am now attending the local community college here in Redding, but I am simply out of money and my parents can not help me. I'm in some pretty steep debt from the loans and I would really appreciate any help I can get.

The $2,000 will pay for my tuition ($1400), books ($300), and travel to and from school for the year($300).

Without your help, I can't afford to go to school next semester. I only have one year left and I will have completed my degree. Please help me reach my goal so that I can begin my career educating young children.
