BLFI aims is to give opportunities to those who have potential in swimming. Those who are out-of-school youth and child beneficiary needed to enroll in public school in the process so they can achieve an athletic scholarship in college. Meanwhile, those who are currently enrolled in a public school that has a difficulty in staying in school because of financial adequacy will give a little financial input for them to pursue their studies. Both clientele will receive swimming courses that will equip them to gain swimming skills to have an edge of athletic scholarship in college.
The goal of the scholarship is to give educational assistance and bring interest to the child to explore his/her capability. Sports like swimming is important because being good in sport means to have a strong social asset, social asset that can bring happiness to the child while studying. Student life has so much stress and a social asset is very important to increase the confidence level of a child. It will help the child to stay in school not only because it is necessary but because he/she enjoys being in school.
By giving 350 USD or 18,000 PHP you will be supporting one child in a year already. It will serve as their educational assistance and become a big help for them to support their academic career.
