Education Debt

My current student loand debt total stands at 163,981. Wow! The number is high, but what's worse is that I have interest rates sitting around 10% making this near impossible to pay down. My monthly payment is $1300, and it is climing due to my graduated payment plan. I have a great job making an alright salary which helps me make my payments, but $15k a year is going directly to the interest, and only a couple hundred of that manages to hit principle.

I have been doing this for 3 years now and I'm starting to lose my mind. I want to have a good life someday, It's why I went to school in the first place! I grew up poor, and slept on nothing more than a matress on the floor. Now here I am 7 years later and I have my own studio apartment and have upgraded to a fouton! Oh boy! A fouton!  

I want to be able to say that I did it, I made it...all my hard work has paid off. Unfortunately, this debt is holding me back...I just want it to be more manageable so I can actually enjoy the hard work I've put in. I mean, I want to get married, have a family, and do all that cheesy 'American Dream' stuff...but unfortunely, I can't even see that as a possibility.  

I need help...anything at all will be helpful. I don't expect my entire balance to go to 0, but every 20k or so, my monthly payment drops about $125. That would be an incredible difference.
