For 3,5 months I will be supporting mathematics and science education in an elementary school in Kampong Cham (teaching, support student-teachers, etc.) and help expanding the education system (development of educational structures, work on misconceptions etc.). Since the mass killings at the time of the Khmer Rouge, during which 75% of the teachers and 96% of the academics were killed, Cambodia gradually tries to overcome the horrors from its past.
