EDUCATION AND LEARNING FUND RAISING

HISTORICAL BACKGROUND

My name is YONA NDEMO I am Tanzanian and I am a second born among of seven children to my parents.

I started my primary school in 1999 at Matanana primary school which is located in Matanana village in Mufindi district and I completed my studies in 2005 where I passed examination and after that I was selected to join Nyololo secondary school in 2006 for ordinary level education and completed my studies in 2009 where I passed the examination .

In 2010 I was selected to join Songea boys secondary school for advanced level education to study Economics, Geography and Mathematics and completed my studies in 2012 also I passed the examination which lead into being selected in October 2012 to be among of the students who were selected to join The University of Dodoma (UDOM) to pursue Bachelor of Science (Bsc) in Mathematics (Pure Mathematics) and completed my studies in 2015 with upper second class.

After that I started to find a work but it becameto be a problem and difficult to get a job because my target is to be a tutorial assistant or a lecturer but right now I can not be a lecturer because I have no masters level of education also I can’t be a teacher in government schools because I haven’t education in my bachelordegree courses and this makes me to remain competing only for tutorial assistant works which are few, periodic and of high competition job vacancies hence it brought me in under unemployment situation until today and I have no alternative to get job than to pursue masters level and my aim is to pursue Masters of Science (Msc) in Mathematics (Pure Mathematics) at the university of Dar es salaam(UDSM) because at this level I will have wide chance of application and I will be more marketable than today but I have no fund.

AIM/GOAL OF FUND RAISING PPROGRAM

The aim of this program is to request for fund from an individual, organizations, institutions, or any other source to help me to get fund for pursuing Masters of Science (Msc) in Mathematics (Pure Mathematics).

The main and big challenge I am facing now is that I am frompoor family and in all levels of education I was paying school and study expenses by myself also I was doing so to my young brothers and sisters so that I can liberate the family and until today I am still helping my parents , young brothers and sisters this is a big challenge for me because I have no any source of income to help my family but I am trying hard to help them because I don’t want to see my sisters and brothers stay at home without being educated while they like to go to school. Always when I look back to my family it brings into tears because I want to help them in advance but I have no enough funds hence I end up helping the family according to my ability. But if I will pursue masters I am sure I will be employed and I will use my income to help my family.
