Campaign Story
At the Lathitha Skills Development Centre in the community of Mzamomhle, Gonubie, we have identified a serious social issue.
Each year, many children of this community are unable to be enrolled in the local government school simply because they do not have a birth certificate. As a result, they wander the streets aimlessly with no hope of an education.
At Lathtiha, we have formed a Home School group with nine of these street children and we are working with their families to help them with the process of getting a birth certificate. Daily we teach them basic reading, writing, mathematics and life skills as well as providing them with a healthy morning snack and lunch.
Our goal is to help these children to have the opportunity of being enrolled in school and reaching their dreams of a bright future through education.

This is a huge step to achieving our ultimate goal for sponsoring each child!
