Bringing Life Skills Back to the Community

My name is Denise Garrison and I am the Founder & CEO of On-Demand Resourcing. I am a lifelong student and I have a passion for helping others. As a product of the Philadelphia Public School System, I know firsthand what it is like to feel like you are being set up for failure. However, I did not let that stop me from surpassing any goal that I have set for myself. My passion is to see our youth thrive and to set them up for success in the real world.

The mission of On-Demand Resourcing is to educate and support individuals as they explore and further understand themselves through growth & development, continuing education, and training. We strive to provide each person that we serve with resources and training with no red tape. In the last ten years, the public school system decided to take life skills out of their curriculum. In efforts to replace what has been taken away from our youth, I started this fundraiser. These funds will allow me to purchase materials as well as provide students with resources that will assist them in their journey.

After obtaining these skills and successfully completing this program, each student will leave with the tools to become a successful adult. Life skills such as financial responsibility, domestic skills, and employability skills will be key elements to the survival of our youth within today’s society. With your donation, I will be able to achieve this goal and equip them with these skills and life-long principles.
