Educate two underprivileged children for a year

Little Wise Owl is a playschool and education centre situated in Capri, Cape Town. We have been running our little school for over 5 years.

Last year I decided that I would like to provide an opportunity to educate an underprivileged child for free for one year and it has been an invaluable and extremely rewarding experience to watch the growth in confidence and progress in the development of the child.

I would love to offer the same experience for two more children next year (2018), but financially the school is unable to afford this.

Our school fees are R1650 per month per child which includes a healthy cooked lunch and full day care from 8am to 5pm. Therefore for the year for two children, I would need a minimum of R39600 to fulfill this dream.

We are situated very close to the township Masiphumelele and I know that there are children that are desperate for a caring, loving, safe and educational environment on a daily basis. This would allow for the parents to afford a few extras for their children for the year too, freeing them of the school fees they can't afford.

I would be happy to send updates and photos of the two children next year and we welcome visits from our sponsors anytime.
