I am a student at Walden University Online, where I am majoring B.S. in Human Services with emphasis on Global Social Justice and Civic Engagement. I have been receiving financial aid for the passed 3 years, but my funds have run out while I have been left to shoulder the rest of my educational expenses to complete the last of the remaining 11 classes. Nevertheless, it is my ardent hope that I could find philanthropists to assist me making my dream as the only member of my family to matriculate or attend and graduate college. I have emerged through hardships from the dark continent of Africa, born to a parent who did not have any form of education because of poverty, with an extension to me as their offspring. My educational goals are high and I am optismistic that with the availability of funding, I could graduate college in less than a year. I have been on dean and president's list at my former school (Kaplan University) and have continue to make good grades at Walden University despite the difficulties of distresses caused by either family and personal living circumstances. If funding is available, I am positive to complete all of my remaining courses in less than a year.
