Educate Me Please!

Hello! I'm Kirsty, and I've recently graduated from the University of Hertfordshire, with a BSc (Hons) Psychology - self congratulatory woo, WOO! After a summer of celebrating and prancing around, it's time to get serious and begin to organise myself in a way that will settle me into a psychological future.  I have decided to continue my studies, and the ambition now is to gain my masters, either in research methods, or in a social psychological area. Addtionally, I want to spend a month on placement in Sri Lanka working with the National Institute of Mental Health. For people not that psychologically-inclined, that placement would probably be the equivalent to me of winning the lottery on Christmas day with 3 french bulldog puppies and a hoard of Hotel Chocolat chocolate covered coffee beans chiling in your new Audi A3. Perhaps. Whatever does it for you, I'm sure on some level you understand the excitement! However, while this is my holy grail, the actual reality of this is all based on financial prospects. Though I'm working full-time/all the time to achieve this, who knew rent/council tax/electricity/phone bills/petrol/food could consume my minimum-wage wages in one swoop?! I aim to save £150 a month, so currently I've saved £300...which by next summer just won't be enough to get me to Sri Lanka for 4 weeks followed by 12 months of intense studying.  So I'm coming to the internet to find people who understand the struggle, and have the generosity to donate anything - anything! - to help me along my way. There's no way to show you how much I would appreciate your kind gestures, and really, anything truly will help me on my psychological route. I'd be keen to keep you updated on my journey, with photos and messages; I'm near London, donate enough and, hell, lets go for a drink!  Thank you for taking the time to read this, and even words of advice are much appreciated too. I'm also reading and making notes on psychological articles, as well as keeping up with my statistics (urgh, stats.) Just so you know, I'm not a lost cause, just a relatively poor one!
