Educate a Black Child

The fundraising is for a project called Educate a black child. We have learnt that most of young people in our community stay with either grand parents or parents who are uneducated.This then says most of this kids do not get help in any form with their homeworks and other things that have to do with their studies like reading. This is where the Educate a Black Child Project sprang out. Our main idea is to help this kids with their studies so that there should not be any difference between a child staying with educated parents and those who are not, we want to bridge the support gap. Our idea is to also help this kids to be computer literate. This is the reason why we are requesting for this funds to get the resources needed to run the project.

The program will be ran in this manner. The idea is not only to help them with their studies but to teach them humility and how to be of service to others. We will have primary and high school learners been assisted with their studies but with a great focus on primary learners during the week and on weekends assist the high school learners . During the week we will be teaching primary learners to read and write and also play with them games that are instilled lessons that improve their IQ and problem solving skills. The teaching will be done together with the High School learners, in this manner they will learn to volunteer their services and skills. We will offer them with training that will help them to become young leaders of tomorrow.

The aim is to build a society of young people who know their value in society and how they could help shape and build a better community with a brighter tomorrow for all.
