Sir Edmar "Jec" Daquil of Brgy. Licuan,Dingle, Iloilo, 38, married and gifted with one beautiful daughter, 7 yrs of age, used to work in a call center ( Manila ) for 10 long years to support his family. They live a normal and a happy life untill they were strucked by a terrible and devastating news, when his wife was diagnosed with Lymphoma Cancer last August of 2016, the same month when Edmar felt his first symptom, the involuntary neck movement.
His wife undergone the full session of chemo therapy but to no avail. She also underwent to radiation procedure and finally tried Herbal and Alternative medication but her body never responded to it. They then decided to return to their home town, in Dingle, Iloilo .Her doctor finally told them that her Lymphoma Cancer was too big and worst to be cured. And she finally rested with our Creator last June 26, 2017, that was three days ago as of writing.
It was a load of pain and struggles as Edmar is left with his own battle to fight.. He is diagnosed with X-linked Dystonia Parkinsonism(XDP) also known as "lubag" or twist a very rare disease occuring only among Filipino Men in Panay. The only known treatment is Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS), a surgical procedure in the brain. This procedure costs more than a million.
To make this procedure possible and save a soul to take care of their daughter, I am knocking on your kind hearts and appealing on your generosity and benevolence.
