iBuild - The Mobile Library is a "Baby Jaycee" project of Junior Chamber International - Manila (JCI Manila), Asia's first and premier leadership development organization.
The project's goal is to reach different pre-school and elementary schools and bring updated studying materials. To bridge the technological divide between schools in the city and far-flung areas, we will use a jeepney as a library and an "Audio Visual Room" by fitting it with books, a TV, laptops and tablets filled with educational apps and interactive games.
As Nelson Mandela once said, "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." Through this project, we invite you to join us in this initiative to empower young Filipinos and create positive change in the Philippines, and eventually, the world.
