2014 will mark the 60th annual Eastern South Dakota Science and Engineering Fair, for the past 60 years young researchers have been able to explore topics that motivate them to do more. The mission of the ESDSEF is to encourage both middle and high school students to get interested in careers in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) by conducting hands on research. Students conduct research covering a wide variety of topics ranging from alternative energy to the adolescent mind. Donations will be used in a variety of ways to support the mission of the fair including funding student awards, funding operational expenses and supporting the Eastern SD Science and Engineering Fair endowment.
