Project Thumbs Up!

The Project Thumbs Up campaign is to help the Hayes family as together they face the many challenges and obstacles in the coming months.

Earl Hayes, son, father, husband, brother, brother-in-law and friend suffered a massive stroke in early September 2016. The stroke impacted his speech, comprehension and caused weakness on the right side of his body. Earl immediately begin therapy exceeding any expectations the team of doctors and therapists could have ever imagined.

While things were progressing well Earl suffered a brain bleed, a potential side effect of the stroke causing a relapse in recovery. He was transferred to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma by helicopter and was taking into surgery that evening. He is surrounded by the love and support of his friends and family which we know will give him the strength he needs to continue to overcome the obstacles ahead of him.

Unfortunately this is not the only battle the Hayes family is facing. Medical expenses are growing fast and ask that you consider making a contribution to our campaign to help support the family as they work hard to WIN this fight. There is no minimum and appreciate any offer you are willing to give, as this not a sprint but rather a marathon.
