Earl is a father and grandfather and has dedicated over 40 years of his life to the nursing profession. After feeling ill for several months he was recently diagnosed with hilar cholangiocarcinoma (an aggressive form of liver/bile duct cancer) and was given a few months to live unless specialists can assess the cancer as operable. The assessment process and subsequent operation and treatment cannot readily be undertaken in his homeland (Trinidad) as significant experience with these uncommon tumors has been limited to a small number of centers globally. The UK being the most viable treatment option.
The full treatment and aftercare could cost in excess of £110,000 but should add several high quality years to his life.We thus request that you give whatever you can to help him win his fight for life.
