Hello! My name is Nathan Foxx and I am an Eagle Scout candidate with Troop 51 in Charlotte, NC. I need your help in a big way! There is a 1/2 mile long trail running through the middle of my neighborhood. I had to come up with a service project for my boy scout Eagle rank and I thought, "What better than a nine hole disc golf course along this trail!?"
The gears in my mind started turning. How could this benefit my community, the Northwoods Homeowners Association? Not only would this disc golf course provide people of all ages and skill level with recreation, exercise & fitness, but the neighborhood would reap benefits such as a reduction in mischief and less litter.
Unfortunately, disc golf baskets aren't exactly cheap! The price is around $250 a piece and with the cost of materials...the total cost will be around $3200.
I have raised $2000 so far but now it's CRUNCH TIME and I need your help and support to make this happen! Will you please help? No donation is too small! Own a business? Sponsor a hole for $150 and your logo and a note of thanks will be featured at the tee!
