Hello family and friends. I have been in Boy Scouts, Troop 605 in Simi Valley, CA since 2011. I have reached the rank of Life Scout, earned 39 merit badges, and have fulfilled all the requirements for the rank of Eagle Scout except for the completion of my Eagle Service Project. In addition, I have been involved in many great projects and attended wonderful camps such as Sea Base in Florida and the World Scout Jamboree in Japan. Approximately only 2% of Boy Scouts achieve the rank of Eagle Scout and it is my goal to achieve this honor. An Eagle Scout Project should give something back to the community, and I have chosen to fulfill an unmet need at Royal High School where I am currently a sophomore. I am on the Varsity tennis team and plan to install three aluminum bleachers at the tennis courts. We are currently the only school in our area that does not have a place for spectators to sit and watch the games. I am having a great experience at Royal High School and want to leave a legacy that will benefit others. My project has already been approved by Royal High School, the Simi Valley United School District, and the Ventura County Council of the Boy Scouts.
The project will cost $1,985.03; I have already raised $860.00 by selling popcorn through my troop and need to raise the balance to complete my Eagle Scout Project. If you are interested in contributing to this project, I would really appreciate your support.
