(EAG) Manny Gutz – With a little help from his friends

HI ALL,

Our family has decided to open a Go Fund me page to raise funds for EAG (Emmanuel A. Gutierrez) who has been hospitalised since 1 June and now needs a liver procedure to take out his liver abscess. There are other multiple issues because he has other complications such as diabetes, high blood pressure and low immune system.

We have raised our target campaign to 1M as we do not know what other things are required after the liver procedure. Please note that there is no free healthcare in the Philippines

We estimate 1M or MORE for his hospitalisation.

HISTORY

1. He was originally hospitalised due to dehydration, low sodium, and high sugar and received sodium medication and insulin shots to lower his blood sugar (he has diabetes). When we thought he was on his way to recovery, little did we know that he also had pneumonia. He was then treated double dose antibiotics (administered via IV) but doctors wondered why his fever was not subsiding. After several more tests (ultrasound, CT scan, blood chems) and more days in the hospital, they found that he was also suffering from liver abscess/liver infection caused by pneumonia. This has affected his albumin and hemoglobin count and he had to do blood transfusion, albumin dextrose etc (2 bottles every hour).

Our family are here to support him all the way. However, we do not know how long his treatment will go. That's why we now think it is high time to ask for help and involve his family, friends and the AD industry he has LOVED and WORKED hard for all these years.

Your contribution will go towards his hospitalisation costs, and if he is discharged early (which we are all praying for), to his maintenance meds. Any help (donation, sharing the page, prayers) will be highly appreciated.
