E-Learning Centre for Refugees

A refugee is someone who has been forced to flee his or her country because of persecution, war or violence. Two-third of all refugees come from just 5 countries which includes; Afghanistan, Syria, Somalia, South Sudan and Myanmar. These refugees often seek for refuge in western countries such as France, Italy etc. The major problem every refugee faces is integrating socio-economically in their host communities.

A principal obstacle in the socio-economic integration of refugees is language and required skillset for entering into the labour market in their host community. Efforts are made by united nations and the host government to offer assistance in language training and digital skills acquisition, however, recent reports have questioned the sustainability, scalability, effectiveness and results of these costly interventions.

I am raising funds to start a non-profit organization that will create an e-learning centre where refugees can freely learn language and digital skills. I implore you to be a part of this life changing mission that could potentialy determine the quality of life refugees have in their host communities.
