The video above is captured by me on Diwali evening where two ambulances struggled to make way.

Everyday thousands of people are taken to hospitals via ambulances. Ambulances play a very critical role in saving our lives. However, seeing at the conditions of our highly trafficked roads, it has nearly become impossible for ambulances to reach within given time-frame to any local destination within a city, especially in metros. Almost more than 1000 people die daily due to non-reaching hospitals.

Many a times we have seen ambulances waiting long behind the vehicle queues straddled at the signals, especially during the rush hours. It is impossible for ambulances to make a way even though the siren is on.

I have come up with an idea that can facilitate smooth transit of ambulances within the city.

The project would involve use of telecom and mobile device that would help enable making way for ambulances. It would involve following stakeholders for this project to come into reality.

Telecom company, Traffic Police Department, Municipal Corporation, Ambulatory Service Providers, Government permissions and approvals and citizens to bring it to reality.

Though I could not share the idea here as I am raising funds to file a patent and other necessary documentation and framework development.

I know this is non-profit project and not many of the investors would see any revenue for their investments but this would ultimately save numerous lives. This would be a contribution to ourselves, our society and our world at large. The only objective here is bring a technology where we all would be able to make way for ambulances. An easy technology at our finger-tips for the ones who are in need.

I can easily share the idea with any corporate giant, but being a small person, I doubt the idea would be given full justice and not being stolen.

Hence, I seek support from you all guys to help me raise funds for initial registrations, idea conceptualization costs. Once this is done, I can approach giants and angel investors for the funds it would require. It would be in billions since it would be using technology at large.

Feel free to let me know if you have any questions.

Every second heart attack patient in India takes more than 400 minutes to reach a hospital, which is almost 13 times more than the ideal window of 30 minutes, government data shows.

A two-year data from the ongoing Management of Acute Coronary Event (MACE) Registry of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) shows at some places it even takes 900 minutes as a lot of time is wasted in transportation.

Only three of England's 32 ambulance services reach a large majority of 'immediately life-threatening' call-outs within eight minutes, according to the latest statistics.

Experts say that 3,000 more heart attack victims could be saved each year if 90 per cent of 999 calls were answered in that time.
