Duncan’s Tablet

I am raising money to purchase a tablet PC for use in learning and personal use.

In the learning aspect,I am a university student in Kenya and a tablet would help solve alot of problems.First,alot of course material is in Soft copy PDF and Word formats so being able to read this without having to pay at an internet cafe would be great.Portability of these notes on a tablet would also be great.Taking notes in class would be another use for the tablet as this means I could have all my notes on the tablet instead of the traditional pen and paper.In school,culture dictates that assignments be typed,and a tablet would be great for these tasks.

On a personal level,I spend hours on the internet and this costs me more than it should as I either have to borrow a computer and modem or I have to go to an Internet cafe.A tablet would thus ease this burden as I would purchase one with a SIM card slot so that my Mobile Service Provider could also double as my Internet Service Provider for a significantly smaller amount.I am also incharge,along with two other people incharge of social media for the University's Shotokan Karate club and a tablet would help improve my participation and input.

Basically a tablet would change my life in more ways than one,and I need your assistance do so.I will forever be indebted to each and every contributor to this fundraiser.

Being an internet and computer junkie,I'll gladly use my knowledge to help with PC and other related issues as a small token of my appreciation.
