Duke’s Parvo Treatment

Our Puppy Duke, who is almost 8 months old had been diagnosed with Parvo virus. Duke was fully vaccinated however still contracted the virus which is affecting his gastrointestinal tracts. This vicious virus is spread by direct dog-to-dog contact and contact with contaminated feces (stool), environments, or people. Duke is now in critical condition and is currently undergoing treatment at the Dog Hospital in ta' Qali.

Unfortunately the treatment for this is one of the most costly. the first 12 hours we've paid almost €500, with the total treatment to be completed is estimated to be around €2000+. This is due to the amount of painkillers, liquid fluids, antibiotics and the fact that his treatment needs to be completely isolated from other dogs, to stop this virus from spreading.
