DRM Music School- Bringing Music to our Elderly

DRM Music School was founded in 2012 by a fresh out of high school student named Emily. The aim of DRM was simple - bring music to rurally based students across Australia. Over the past 2 years DRM has been achieving this goal, bringing musical tuition programs to places as far out as Albury Wodonga on the boarder of Victoria and New South Wales.  Now in 2015, DRM Music School wants to try something new. We want to bring the joy of music to the elderly in rural communities throughout Australia. Why should our young people be the only ones to reap the rewards? It is a proven fact that listening to and learning an instrument stimulates the brain; similar to learning a language or a new skill.  DRM Music School is therefore asking for funding to see our bold expansion plan come to fruition- every dollar helps. The money raised will be used to set up our teachers in these rural communities and also partially subsidise the programs on offer until we are able to obtain a more permanant government subsidy.     Thank you for taking the time to read and help our cause!
