The WeCare Early Childhood Development and Pensioner Care Centre was established in 2005 and has since grown to feed just over 60 toddlers per day. In addition, thrice weekly a hot meal is provided to the needy in the Tafelsig Community. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays are dedicated to the old of age whom require meals to consume their medications. The project have been successfully funded with food donated from Shoprite, Checkers, the Food Bank as well as the biggest contributor Woolworth. Daily lunch sandwiches are provider to children of primary school going age in the community.

Woolthworths however have decided to rescind their much needed food donations due to the u serviceability of Margeret Meyers two vehicles whom she is unable to repair due to lack of funds.

Margeret Meyer has dedicated every cent of herself in order to ensure a child is fed and taught the basic educational principles which are often lacking in poorer communities. She as well have adopted 8 children whom she takes care of on a full time bases. She is in desperate need of a reliable Bakkie to secure the food donations from Woolworths. The loss of her vehicles basically means that her Care Centre will basically be closed down and many of those whom desperately in need of educate, food and safety will no longer be cared for.

The crowd funding donations will exclusively be used to buy a second hand Bakkie which meets the requirents of Woolworths strict health and safety standards.
