Dreyah’s People to People European Heritage

My name is Dreyah Cushman, and I am a 17-year-old junior at Blue Valley North High School.  I am writing to you about an extremely special opportunity.  I have been selected to become a People-to-People Student Ambassador to experience European Heritage.  This summer, I will join a delegation of students my age on an educational program that will take us through England, France, Germany, Belgium, The Netherlands, Austria, and Switzerland.  On our journey to Europe, we will explore seven countries in 20 days on the adventure of a lifetime!  Ride on an alpine roller coaster, trace heroic footsteps along the beaches of Normandy, and make friends with a German family during a home stay.  I will also get the opportunity to meet with a member of British Parliament and go behind the scenes to explore European cathedrals and mysterious castles.  I cannot believe I will experience these magnificent countries in ways that will inspire my imagination, feed my curiosity, and give me new perspective on this amazing part of the world.
