Dreams of Nursing

I'm a 19 year old college student trying to attend my local college. I have chosen nursing as my career in life because I love to help others. At 18 I was diagnosed with a few health issues, that involved many trips to the hospital and ER visits. Each time I visted the hopsital and doctor's offices the nurses were so nice and caring to me. It almost made me forget the pain that I was in at the time. Seeing how they did their job really made me want to help others too. If I can at leas help one person like they did for me then I will feel satisfied. The medical field needs more people, I would love to be a pediactric nurse one day because I love children. My visits also inculded multiple medications I was given while I had insurance. Now without it I can't even afford the medicine I used to have. I can rarely go to the doctor because of not being able to. I'm trying as hard as I can to save up money for school because my parents simply do not have it and I have no one else to help me. I'm struggling to find a job and go to school. Anything will help and I will forever be grateful, I'm just trying to reach my dream and help others all at the same time.
