Dancing has been my passion since I was 8. I completely fell in love with the art form while watching my nan shine in a tap class my mum and I happened to be picking her up from. I was enchanted. I wanted to feel as timeless as she looked.

However, my lessons have never been easy to afford. At 12 my mum was unable to keep paying for weekly training, so I started attending a street dance after school club run by my friend's mum. This saw me through a few years, and at 18 I got a part time job, allowing me to return, at 20, to classical training in ballet, jazz, and street dance. These last two years have changed my life, making my dream of attending dance school more of a reality than ever before, and this year I am applying to professional schools in NY and the surrounding areas.

I do not expect to raise the money required to pay course fees and maintenance costs of attending school, as I fully appreciate there are other people on this site with important issues who need help, but I have high hopes that I will be able to raise to pay for dancing school in NY.

Dance is such a massive part of my life, and it would mean more than I can describe if I was able to study my dream subject for the next 3 years.
Please help me overcome the painful trend that only those that are born with money can attend dance school.

Auditions start in the Winter of this year, so any contribution will be so gratefully received, even if it's just the 1$ you find under the sofa!

Thank you in advance for making a little girls dream come true! All my love and gratitude, Makasha.
