DREAMS DO COME TRUE

        I have known Lisa since last year. She is a very optimistic, determined and passionate person. Lisa was the person who brought me back to the Lord and has given me the desire to serve him fully. As a friend, she has been there for me and many others during difficult times. During her time off, she ministers the gospel and brings people closer to God, and volunteers countless hours to non-profit organizations and supporting friends. Lisa’s life has not been easy, from having a rough upbringing and living on her own since she was 14 years old to having two miscarriages in the last two years, and over 10,000 on medical bills. How can a person endure so much and not give up on life? I wish I had the heart and faith that she has. Lisa is now attending a dental assistance program here in San Diego to better herself and support her parents that are soon to lose their home, but she has no money to continue to support herself financially. Car payments, insurance bills, denture problems and credit card bills continue to amount and there is no money left even for her basic needs. Lisa is a committed and devoted student, and has received nothing but above average grades. I ask that you touch your heart and help my true friend. We know what it means to have dreams and aspirations, help me to help Lisa continue her studies, she will not disappoint us.
