Dreaming photo project….

Hi,

my name's Eric, I'm French 49, living in Dominican Republic.

I came here 4 years ago from Miami on a research vessel as a cook and a photographer. After two years working on, I lost my job, the cie didn't paid my all salary, didn't gave me a return flight to any country and so let me without resources in DR. I have to live in a bad neighborhood unsafe and in bad condition to pay less rent! 

First year I have to sold out a small price the car I bought when I arrived  and many things to survive until now...

Bad things never happened alone, I get stolen in my house: computer, photographic equipment(camera, flash, lens...) and other personal things...

That was the worst day of my entire life and still is!

I was at this time trying to organize a couple of project, to get out of my bad situation, which felt done of course...

One of these is to make the turn of South America by the coast and take in picture all beautiful sunrise and sunshine I will be able to(see the pic, one of my favorite, Bimini, Bahamas).

Starting by the sunshine, Venezuela-Guyana-Suriname-French Guiana-Brasil-Uruguay-Cape Horn- and then the sunrise Chile-Peru-Ecuador-Colombia.

My project is to travel light and cheap, hostel or bedroom homestay, bus, train, boat, walk.. I want to meet the population too and looking for local market for nice pic of fruits and vegetables, which is the second part of my reportage!!

I'm speaking French(of course!), fluent English and then Spanish after these 4 years in Dominican Republic, wich it will be helpful for my project....

So I need to buy a new camera, with all it's need and a small light computer as I would like to inform everybody, on my website, about the project and send some pic almost in direct!

Then after the trip I would like to do a book.

I'm planing a 5 to 6 months travel to do all places around the south continent!

So for the materiel, the travel expenses and any others I will need about 15000 Euro/Dollars...

Whatever you can do for helping me, will be helpful and thanks-coming...

I'm also ready to offer to each person who's helping me with at least 500, an edition  of the book with a dedicace!
