Dreaming of walking again

Hello,

   My name is Alexandru Gopsa, I am 25 years old and I am from Moldova. My story starts on January 2012, when I was 23 and right after I graduated from University. Everything happened very quickly within days. I started to feel pain on my back and having high fever... I went to the the doctor, but his diagnosis was very hard to understand. I'm going to tell you a short version of it, so everyone can understand it: Intramedullary tumor Th1-Th5. I've had surgery on my spinal cord, which completely changed my life and my family's. I went from having a very normal life and dreaming about the future, to not being able to walk and hardly move from the neck down. All of the sudden I was paralised and laying in my bed.
 But life goes on! Little by little I started to feel and move my arms and legs. As soon as I started to exercise. I exercised at home from what I could learn online by my self, and with the machines that my relatives hand made for me, also everything else I could come up with. I tried to get the best out of it and I definitly advanced.  Also, swimming a few times a week helped me too.
  It took months of hard work to be able to do something by myself like getting out of my bed, eating, standing on my feet, even making a few steps with the walker. The point is that in the last few months, unfotunately I am not makimg any progress. Everything I do at home keeps me in shape, but I am not advancing anymore. For that reason I need to go to a rehabilitaion center, so I can work with professionals.
 My surgery put a big weight on my family, my mom had to quit her job to take care of me, and finances became a problem. We've spent everything we had saved. The only finacial source are my father's earnings, and my medical pension which is very little. ( My medical pension is $14/month, and one session of swimming is $20/month)
  I registered in this website with the hope of raising money to be able to go this summer to the rehabilitation center, and being able to walk again. This will allow me to achive my goals and my dreams.
