Dream without boarders: Help Cape Town Startup go to Turkey

Zero1 Creations is a marketing and branding business that creates jobs for skilled but unemployed freelancers working as graphic designers, website designers, photographers and software developers. The business is founded by the University of Cape Town students – Brian Mulambo & Gift Masiza who aim to help create jobs and help businesses grow.

Zero1 Creations has recently been selected as one of the Top 100 Startup Istanbul startups to be part of the program. The business was selected out of 137,783 startup applications from 150+ countries of which only 1% was approved and selected to join the Startup Istanbul program on 18-21 October in Istanbul. The Top 100 startups will meet world class mentors, investors, companies and media in 4 days. Exhibition stand, opportunity to access demo day, mentor hours, workshops and even a chance to be on the main stage to pitch the business in front of 1000+ world class entrepreneurs ready to invest in the Top 100 startups.

Zero1 Creations needs help to raise funds to send one of the founders Brian Mulambo to Istanbul, Turkey to attend the program. The funds will help towards paying for accommodation, traveling expenses and the program registration fee. This will help the business get the tools, support and financing it needs to expand so that it can continue creating jobs and also teach members branding and digital marketing skills. To date the business has managed to create jobs for 25 Freelancers and continues to increase the number.

The funding will cover the following expenses: R10,000 - Return flight. R18,000 - Accommodation & Food for 6 days. R2,000 – Unexpected expenses
