DREAM, WISH, GOAL!! HAVE YOU EVER HAD A DREAM, A WISH, A GOAL? I dream my children will not have to struggle the way I have struggled my whole life. I dream that my children's future will be bright and happy. I wish that everything that I have taught them and all the struggles they have been through will make them stronger and kinder as they become adults. I have a goal that they will see what it is like not to worry daily if we have enough money to pay bills. I have a goal to make a future for them financially and environmentally. My dream, my wish, my goal, are all the same, to make my children happy! To show them that all our struggles in our life have led to this point. Through all our struggles, I have taught them, no matter how down we have been, we have always helped others. That no matter where we are in our lives it is about helping others the way we need help. That is the way the world should be. No matter how high or low you are in your life there is always someone else needing a helping hand. Are you going to reach for it or turn the other way? I will always keep reaching! I hope someone will do the same for us. Ask yourself, Have you ever had a dream, a wish, a goal? My goal is to be able to get my business going. Creations by JmJ brings back to life an object that is heading to the landfill. The elegance of the reincarnation, a whole new life for an item, a new journey with so many different endings. So many possibilities: a simple restore, an elegant makeover, an uplift, a little spice, or something just out of this world, there is sure to be a new adventure in store for this new masterpiece. Facts are landfills are filling up! Let's face it the recycling bins are not made for huge items, all those big items go to the landfill. There is also the problem of illegal dumping. How many times have you seen a couch, a table, scrap wood or even a television on the side of the road? I go around collecting all those items and bring them back to life. I truly believe if I have the resources I can help. My problem is I can only fit so many things in my mini van. My other problem is having a place to put them and work on them. I have a five-year business plan, my first year goal is get my business going, get the required licenses, secure a physical location with lease, get items needed to run my business, some of the items needed would be, a truck or small trailer, advertising, register, shelves, equipment to function the store tools, paint, etc, also become well-known in the community for helping the homeless and the environment. After the first year, the goal is to have several drop off locations for the community to leave their bulk items, have an establishment with normal business hours with certain days of the year having scheduled auctions in establishment. The biggest and most important is to begin my mission DREAM, WISH, GOAL!! Creations by JmJ working on the community from the ground up! The mission is to offer an opportunity to homeless in the community to be able to come into my business and create their own masterpiece they would be given the opportunity to come in with their items to turn them into treasures or they can use the items I already have. Once they have completed their masterpiece they will be given the opportunity to have it in my showroom to sell and/or have it up for auction when the scheduled day comes. This gives the homeless an opportunity to make money to get them on their feet and on their way to bigger and better things! I am trying to raise enough money for all the items I listed above. Any donation that you can afford is heavily appreciated. The more people who try to save the environment the better. The more people to help others in need the better. Fund-raising is not only about raising money, but it is about building community around a cause. If you cannot contribute that's OK, maybe you know someone who can. The more people talking the better. I did not want to put a goal amount because every penny counts but it required me to! I have enclosed pictures that I have gathered from articles on the web of problems in our communities with garbage. With the pictures I found on the web, I have enclosed 2 different copies. First copy is to give you the opportunity to use your imagination on what you can make from these bulk items and save our landfills! Second copy I have edited the pictures to show some examples of bulk items I have turned into Creations by JmJ or have ideas to make new creations from them.
