Dream Wedding for a New Beginning

After being best friends for seven years, we are finally welcoming the date of our wedding this November, 2015. It has been a wild ride of heartbreak, love, debt, and adventure to this point, and we look forward to a long life of love with each other. My name is Morgan, and my fiance, Adam, and I have been having financial setbacks while wedding planning lately, and so we turn to the internet for the assistance of kind hearted strangers in the hopes that we can have the wedding of our dreams.

If you are interested, here is a little back story; we met freshman year of high school, and were best friends since the day we met. I had not had a very healthy upbringing and so had a lot of relationships, but I tell you, when I met Adam, I knew something had clicked. I was set up with another friend, however, and the story goes from there. During our sophomore year, Adam asked me advice on how to ask out my best friend. They dated for four years, while I had a line of abusive relationships. I broke it off with my most recent ex a year after he and his ex girlfriend had broken up (we remained friends!), and we decided to try to date. Six months later, we were happily engaged (and his ex girlfriend/my best friend? She is getting married this June and we are bridesmaids in each other's weddings!). The past two years have been an adventure, but we have never been happier to have finally found in each other what we were looking for in the wrong places.

We have booked everything for our wedding, however at the beginning of the year, I quit my well-paying security job due to an unsafe work environment, and am now making a dollar less than I was, as well as less hours. Making our bills is enough of a challenge (I've been applying to better paying jobs left and right), and now the wedding is getting into jeopardy, as our families can only do so much.

After seven years of abusive relationships, I would like this wedding to be my only wedding (and my only marriage) and Adam is definitely the man that I plan on spending the rest of my life with. We're having a small wedding, less than 80 people, but nothing is fully paid for yet and we're short on time to raise the money on our own while we also try to pay all of our bills that have piled up. We ask for the kindness of strangers in the hopes that we will have the wedding that we tried so hard to plan and book everything for.
