Dream Trip For Interview In Korea

My name is Tommy, I'm from New Jersey, United States and I have a amazing opportunity ahead for me if I can find help raising the funds for it. 

I am owner of a site called Visual Glow. It is the official international fansite of the Korean girl group Rainbow. They are not extremely well known or popular, but they mean alot to me and I have been there for them by being supportive for almost 5 years now. I put so much time, sacrifices and money into the site giving back to the girls and fans through giveaways and more. We also go out of our way to sub videos for fans to understand.

Through my life I have faced many struggles. I've suffered from many kidney problems, a heart problem, my dog has had 2 back surgeries, I was a gun hostage at my work and more. I don't want to dwell on my misfortunes too much or bother you with them, so I am keeping that short. I don't have much that makes me happy in my life. Running my site and Rainbow is probably one of the only things that keeps me going.

Recently, my friend of almost 4 years, decided to reach out to Rainbow's company about the possibility of us interviewing the girls for our website since she is taking a trip to Korea in July. She is our website translator. The company is strongly considering it. If I can go as well it would increase the odds.

Because I am owner of our site and it has always been my dream to meet the girls and interview them, the fact that the company has agreed to consider this is huge. But, the problem is unlike my translator, I can not afford a flight ticket to Korea myself. This is what I need your help for. A flight ticket roundtrip from the United States to Korea would cost $1700 give or take. I wish it was lower, but surprisingly this is pretty much the average cost for a roundtrip from America to Korea. I do have a job but at $7.25 an hour and only 20 hours a week it is hard for me to save much up. The plan is to go around July 14th-21st.

Because the company is considering and my translator can go this maybe my best and only real chance to ever meet Rainbow. 

Without my translator if I were to ever go on my own I'd be lost without her too LOL I've tried so many other ways to make a trip to Korea happen. I've entered contests, reached out to the company, television networks, ect. ect. Even if the company decides not to do the interview at their office and in some other form or not completely at all it be nice to go for other reasons. When it comes to dedication and passion I am extremely serious.

Rainbow means so much to me and this is a huge opportunity. The girls are always supportive of our website like we are to them and for us to meet each other would make everyone happy all around! xD

If I get to go on this trip my two remaining dreams would finally come true. It also be during my favorite member's Birthmonth and we have talked and become close online. Also my translator and me have been a team for 4 years, but never have met, so that would also be a first. I have also never been to a concert or performance for anyone in my life, so that too would be a first. There is so much exciting good things that can become of this trip if I can find help.The questions we do during the interview be provided by fans.

Some other staff may even join us and along the way I will also meet another friend of 2 years between flights. These people are probably my only true friends and I've never had a chance to meet them personally. That can change with this. I'd have to face too long stops inbetween in California and Hawaii back and forth, but I do not mind the wait because my dream overcomes that.

Alot of other things have already been figured out like hotel arrangements, subway and food money, ect. ect. my friends and staff have helped me as much as possible in this regard already and I can not ask anymore of them. Nor can I ask fans as I feel it is wrong and they too help us get gifts for the girls as it is. It is just the flight ticket I need help with. 

So if you can please please help make this dream come true. It mean alot to me. When I set my mind to something I am determined to see it through.
