Dream simple happiness

My name is Erwin Sanchez and here are our simple family picture. We live in Central Luzon Philippines and I am the only bread winner of the family. I got sick of mild stroke way back 2012 and was worried because of my family and my son was just 2 years old then. By God's grace I was healed. Though my left eye is drooping, my right half body is numb and my left leg is a little shorter than the right due to the effect of my stroke, still I humbly grateful to God that I was able to land a job. With my simple salary, we can somehow put up a decent food in full 3 square meals a day but my salary is not enough for me to fulfill my dreams for my wife and son.

I love them so dearly and my wife is doing an exceptional care to us especially when I got sick and she took care of me for 2 years to walk and talk again. She took care of our son who is now in grade school. I wanted to reward them so precious because I do not know how long will I stay working. And the reason for humbly asking and knocking on your kind heart is for me to raise funds for my wife and son. I see how hard for them to commute from house to school and goes home in the evening weary and exhausted. Summer and wet season in the Philippines are extremely hard. During wet season, they were not able to go to school because of flooding.

On my knees humbly asking for help to raise funds for my family to save and buy them a cheap vehicle so that they would no longer to wait for long minutes for a ride going to the city coming from the mountain, where we live, and another 2 rides going to school. After they arrived at school, they were already tired and my son sometimes has to take a rest so that he can effectively study well. Part of the funds also is to simply improve our small house to a more conducive place to live. As you can see in our background picture, our place is unfinished and dusty.
