Dream of starting my own business

Hi!

My dream is to start my own business, and to do this I need to a Masters Degree in Arts Management.

The deadline for the course is 31st May 2014, and the course will start in September 2014, and lasts about a year.

What I want to achieve from doing the course is starting my own business which will help young people (14 - 16) develop self confidence and leadership abilities.

This is because when I left school a few years ago, I didn't receive any support at all. We weren't given any help on what do when school had finished, bar some 2 week work experience and Connexions (job information) sessions.

It felt a little as though once school had finished, they didn't care about you.

After school I went onto Sixth Form - and did Performing Arts.

The first few weeks of that helped me develop more confidence within myself and my abilities that the five years of school had ever managed to do.

It was simple workshops as well!! Just simple team building and leadership workshops.

I couldn't believe how much more confident I'd become, and this is why I want to help others the same way that I was helped - I want to work with theatre companies, as they will have know the best workshops, and how to get the best results.
