I believe that the Earth deserves our love and respect. That is why I dream of living self sustainably. My project is to build a small self sustainable cob house on a plot of land in Arizona on the Navajo Reservation. Cob is a completely natural substance (sand, clay and straw) which is a non-toxic way of building. I hope to build a large greenhouse and garden in order to produce organic fruits and vegetables to provide healthy eating options to the local community, Kayenta and the surrounding area. This small impoverished town is in desparate need of healthy food options which I hope to provide at a very low cost or for free (depending on the household). I believe in giving back to the community and this is how I plan on doing it. If I can build a self sustainable house, I will be honoring mother nature as well as providing for a local community in need. All I need is your help! I will need to pay for the materials for cob, windows, solar panels, wiring, plumbing, materials for the greenhouse, and a well to be built. I can achieve all this with your support. Anything at all helps! Thank you so much.
