Dream of becoming an animator

I am an aspiring animator who's goal is to make a living for myself. I have learned what I can from the internet using free assets and some paid, but now I feel I need to upgrade my hardware. On my current job here I can spare $15 on my savings each month, but it would take me a couple years to reach the price of a professional workstation about $2500 worth of hardware. I worry that I would become too old before my real career can start.

I have so far saved $270 since last year, even tried multiple jobs to increase income, but it's just not sustainable here in Indonesia. Especially after rent and other needs.

I'm trying my best to use my current hardware, but having constant stuttering, freezing and crashes is beginning to hinder my progress of improving and making a good reel, I cannot imagine going to work with it. I wake up to want to animate all day during holiday to be met with a machine that cannot keep up with my ambitions. If you can spare some change, I would be ever grateful.
