The aim of the project is to open a beauty salon capable of providing high-quality services for skin care, face, body, and hairdressing services.
The calculation of the financial model is made for a beauty salon that focuses on middle-income clients, mostly women from 25 to 40 years and older, as well as men and children.
The main services of the beauty salon are:
- Hairdressing services (men's, women's, children's haircuts)
- Manicure and pedicure (care, building, design, correction)
- Cosmetic services (skin care and face cleaning, eyebrow care, eyelash care, epilation, make-up, peeling)
- Body care
- Sale of cosmetics
To implement the project, we need 16,000 dollars of initial investment.
The purpose of this project is the opening of a beauty salon that meets the principles of highly professional service. The clients are offered a wide range of services in the following areas: hairdressing (haircut, styling, coloring, chemistry), manicure and pedicure, nail extensions, cosmetology, massage. According to the marketing agency Global Reach Consulting, the market volume of beauty salons is estimated as fast growing.
The period of implementation of the investment phase, including obtaining permits, repair and redevelopment of the premises, the purchase of equipment and supplies, is calculated for the period from March to May 2018. The start of sales is scheduled for June 2018. The output on the planned sales volume at 30% of the load is 4 months.

The beauty salon is a premise on the first floor of a multi-storey residential building on the first line of houses with a separate entrance and a signboard. The salon area is 125 sq. M. In the salon there is a hairdressing salon, a manicure and pedicure room, a beauty salon, a massage room, a nail extension and a make-up area, as well as a solarium, an administration and recreation area for the staff.
The salon is open for clients from 9.00 to 21.00, without days off. The schedule of work of employees (service personnel) is shifted 2/2.
The management structure consists of the administrative department, which is represented by 2 salon administrators: a senior administrator and an administrative assistant. The attendants are represented by six hairdressers-universals, a physician-cosmetologist and a massage therapist.
In addition to the services, the salon carries out retail trade in cosmetics. The main advantage before buying in a regular store is the opportunity to get a specialist's advice on the specifics of products on the spot.
Activity of the salon is aimed at the overwhelming majority of the population, namely the population with an average level of prosperity. Beauty salon will function to meet the needs of people in quality haircut, styling, curling and coloring, manicure and pedicure, cosmetic procedures, massage. The main requirements that are imposed on beauty salons are an increased level of professionalism, speed and quality of service, convenient location, convenient work schedule. All these requirements are planned to be made the basic principles of the salon's work.
The target audience of the salon are young people from 18 to 35 years of age who make up 70% of the clientele. About 20% fall on people aged 35 to 45 years, another 10% of clients - for adolescents and the elderly. The main consumers of services are the female part of the population (up to 70%).
