Dream a little dream wedding..

more joy then to marry my best friend Eli on July 23rd 2016... I am Jenn and my fiancée is Eli and we have a unique story, we love to tell it. It wasn't always easy it wasn't always fun but it is our story and talking about us is always a good thing.

Our 20 year love affair.
It began on a school yard over 20 years ago, the popular handsome Catholic boy and the shy young lost girl who had never known real love. This is a story about life and loss, sacrifice and true unconditional love.
He was on top of the world, the star of the show and that boy that all the girls wanted. He was tall and handsome like no other, his big brown eyes were so dreamy one glance could bring you to your knees. She was beautiful but didn't have a clue to it. She was sweet and kind and at the same time damaged and unsure. Afraid of the world around her but still gripping on a glimmer of hope that someday she will be rescued, her knight could come. He fell hard that warm September day back in 1993, he saw her out of the corner of his eye. She was standing outside of her school yard with a couple other girls, laughing and giggling like young girls do. He remembers that moment clearly, he saw her and his only thought was "that is my girl" He knew from the first moment that he loved her. He went right up to her with his cocky confidence and she felt something very unfamiliar to her, she was smitten. As he spoke she just stared, she watched his mouth as he spoke. Saw his eyes watching her and was instantly dumbfounded and absolutely fascinated by how flawless he was. She thought, he is beauty in human form. Then a feeling overcame her. It was doubt. She thought come and go, come and go he's just like everyone else I've known. He will soon be gone too. Noone ever stays to long. In that same moment she fell for this boy and something changed in her heart forever. After a brief first encounter Eli did something unimaginable, She didn't know it at the time and it took almost 20 years for her to find out. Eli had a girlfriend and he ran right back to his school and broke up with her, ran back to the beautiful shy girl and asked her to be his girl. Without a thought or a blink, she said yes! It was three weeks of boy chase girl and girl run from boy. He tried so hard , he really did. She just didn't know what to do with a boy like that. After a gruelling 3 weeks Eli threw in the towel and without warning walked up to her and dumped her, he was short and not so sweet. That marked the first time and last time anyone dumped little miss shy girl. As it turns out Eli wasn't ready for the feeling he had for Jenn and for Jenn that hurt she felt she swore she'd never let herself be dumped again. They met again sooner then they expected it was 1995 and Eli was hanging around Jenn's house quite a bit but so we're all of his friends. A bunch of playboys just looking for a place to hang out. Eli was there more often thought and by himself sometimes. They watched movies and talked about running away together, Jenn by then had run away from home numerous times and Eli craved the freedom she experienced but mostly he craved her presence. One night while they were doing their silent crush dance Jenn did something that even now to think about still doesn't seem realistic. She took Eli by the hand and lead him away with her to a place she didn't know at the time but she lead him to her room and when they came out Eli was smirking and proud. Jen was not so shy anymore. Or so she thought. She didn't see Eli again after that for almost a year. When she did he was with his first child's mother, she was pregnant with his child at the time, Jenn had hooked up with the biggest douche of them all, she and found herself 15 and pregnant alone and scared but determined. They had their children a month apart both giving birth to beautiful baby boys. They lost touch but never stopped thinking of one another. Another child and a new wife came for Eli a daughter named Trinity, then a son for Jenn. A husband and child for Jenn Lukas then finally a divorce and new baby for Eli Sophia. That's when life took a horrid turn. Eli's daughter Trinity passed away at the precious age of 8 and it shook their town. A part of Eli died that day. Jenn mourned from a distance wishing to have one hug for the man who held such significance to her. 4 more years and a few bad relationships then it happened.. Eli woke a little and reached up. Jenn having been extremely depressed herself was waiting with open arms. They hadn't spoke in years and there they were on the Internet chatting like old buds. One missed meeting then almost another when Jenn said those few words that reached Eli and pulled him out just enough to stand, she said "We hanging or what budzzzz" and he came. On the way to pick him up with her teenage fosters in the car Jenn told part of this very story and after the giggles her Em says with excitement "imagine you two end up together and he's like THE ONE... As it turns out he truly is the one. That first evening was magic and since then has been nothing less than spectacular. Passionate embraces, honesty, healing and an unbelievable amount of LOVE.. On July 23 2016 I will be his wife. He took me to the school where we met and from his knee asked me to be his wife on October 30th 2015 and in that moment all of my dreams came true. I've never been loved until now, my boys and I feel so blessed. I'd never been in love until now. Eli is my Knight my best, most cherished, closest, amazing best friend and I can't wait to make it official. His beautiful children brighten our life so much everyday and Trinity is a guiding light around us that brings warmth and comfort... We sure hope you enjoyed our little journey of love.
