Drawing tablet

I'm trying to fund my Wacom Intuos Pro latest, which is currently at $349.50 everywhere for a medium size model. Not that I don't have that amount of money, but I spend it mostly on commodities and besides there were too many negative reviews saying the tablet could be more solid and it feels cheap. Besides, the surface that comes with it uses up stylus nibs in a few sessions so additional $30 for the smooth surface (sold separately and well, I could buy that one). I cherish my graphic designer freelance job because it's all that I've got, yet I get like few hundred bucks every other month, with a toy tablet which is shaking like crazy so I'm not able to draw a straight line.
