Drake Roost Travellers Hostel

As long time landlords we saw the growing need for short term stay accommodations, similar to a hotel yet budget-oriented. A private bed with access to shared bathroom, kitchen and seating/social area. A safe place to lock up your belongings during the day and rest your head at night, with the option to store and prepare meals. Hence Drake Roost was hatched.

In less than a year, Drake Roost has opened it’s doors to guests as far away as Russian, China and Australia, and as near as Saskatoon itself. Currently we are able to provide for four individuals, vehicle parking, airport/bus depot shuttle, laundry, tv and wifi.

We have grown and improved our services but the Roost is nether a monthly rental nor hotel and therefore does not qualify for any funding. Our greater mission would accommodate up to 50 people with an added feature of a cafe/grocery store serving guests and local residences.

Funds raised will go to expanding the Roost and your donation will not go without notice or appreciation.
