Campaign Story
Our colleague and friend, Dr Lui Weng Sun is undergoing a trial to defend himself against a charge by a 24 year old Vietnamese patient who has accused him of touching her nipple while placing a stethoscope on her chest for auscultation and examination.
He is a 46 year old father, sole bread winner of the family and has 3 young children age 11, 12 and 15 years old. We, as his classmate and friend for the last 30 years, will like to help him during this difficult period where his family is going through both emotional and financial hardship.
Please help out by making a small donation to the defence trial fund (which is not covered by the Medical Protection Society). At press time, the legal fees has reached SHD140,000.
