My name is Mishka and I currently reside in Cape Town, South Africa. I wish to attend the dowra programme this year in Tarim to benefit holistically from the blessed land, honourable teachers and descendants of our beloved Prophet (SAW), and locals. Tarim is known to have the highest concentration of descendants of our beloved Prophet (SAW) and there is most commonly regarded as the theological, juridical, and academic center of the Hadhramawt Valley.

The Dowra is a short yet intensive knowledge and spiritually reforming programme in accordance with the principles of ‘ilm, sulūk and da’wah that is attended by students from all around the globe. It is designed in a way so as to allow students who are unable to attend the full-time studies, the opportunity to experience a part of the Prophetic methodology upon which the Dar al-Mustafa and Dar al-Zahra is established upon, through direct descendants and those who are part of the strong chains to our beloved Prophet (SAW).

My intention first and foremost is for the sake of Allah (SWT) and to increase my connection with Him (SWT) and thereafter for purification of the heart, reformation of the nafs (lower self), seek beneficial knowledge, seek and attain noble character traits and habits, to honour the pledge with Allah (SWT) and to serve the ummah.

I humbly seek your financial assistance to cover my trip - this includes flights, accommodation, visa, transportation, dowra school fees and meals etc. Any contribution will be greatly appreciated and with these funds going towards the gaining and spreading of knowledge, your contribution will be a sadaqah-tul-jariyah, a continuous act of charity, Ameen.

I also humbly seek your prayers for a safe and accepted journey to and from Tarim and that I may be of benefit to the ummah until my last breath, Ameen.
